Swans,Ospreys, Wild Turkeys and a Sleeping Bison

14 migrating Trumpeter Swans in the North Channel of Lake Huron and assorted ducks keeping them company.
Went looking for some Bison photos at the Bison ranch on highway 17 west. The whole herd of approx. 200 must have been hiding in the woods because this old tired bull was the only one in sight. I'm guessing he's sleeping and not deceased.

On a side road through farmland. The Tom Turkey was doing his utmost to entice the hen to follow him.
She Did! How could she not with such a handsome fella.
Futher on down Highway 17, approaching Sault Ste Marie ON are a series of hydro poles upon which several Osprey pairs occupy their annual, permanent nests.

First picture both are in residence.
Then one (the male I think) leaves.
While the wife looks on.

and returns with nesting material for home improvements.
And lands.
