Another visit with the Elk

The story in 3 fields.
This is a portion of the herd. Remainder are out of frame.             This field is western-most of the 3

in the same field is the Herd Master.       A mature Bull.    He is facing East where a potential challenger stands.

The Challenger.                      2 fields to the East.

 In between are a pair of young bulls                Too immature to present a threat to the old Bull


Note the vine hanging from the antlers on the one in the back.      Camouflage perhaps .Hopes to fool the big guy.
