Mixed Bag.

Starting with a mallard family (s) updates.

First the oldest. Now flying well and here they are beginning to show gender. Drake is on left with his bill turning colour.

Then the somewhat younger group. Here dabbling in the weeds as one sentry stand on guard.

And as I approached a signal was given and they all assembled and moved on out.

Next up: The Wood Ducks.
1st the Drake.

He will return to full dress uniform in a month or so. I will be watching

Then   a mature female and younger male.

And this is one of the original ducklings that we have been following since hatching.

For a change of pace:
A Northern Water-snake.

About a meter long.
