Loons galore, Bear Evidence, Mummified Snapper

Dennison mine tailings pond size is more like a lake.
14 Loons. 10 in the picture 2 more out of the frame and another 2 along the shore.

And as I watched they all seemed to be acting weird.

What does one call a flock of Loons? A Lunacy?

Then after 40 minutes they all decided to take off in different directions. East,West,South. Nobody went North.

On the road to the lake I came across this:
The Mummified remains of a young Snapping Turtle.

and further on down the track:

Winnie's Poo.
Obviously ignored Mother's lesson about properly chewing one's food.
Waste of good Blueberries.
