Male Goldfinch thinks there has been an extension to the mating season.  But female sets him straight.

and leaves him high and dry.

Young Canada gosling appears to have been abandoned (or lost). Grass strip hides a steep drop to Little White river rapids. As we approached it headed down and was lost from  view.

8 Wood-duck duckings just prior to entering a small forest of dead trees/stumps.           When they were passing through there was a bit of a commotion and the group paddled madly out of the area.

But only 7 ducklings emerged. Pretty obvious there's  a Snapping Turtle enjoying a meal.
