Despite generally lousy weather and overall scarcity of subjects:
This visiting Cardinal was the first one seen by me in the 13 1/2 years living here.
Then there were the Wood Ducks still hanging around.

And some good news. I had said a week or two ago that a picture I had posted was of a beaver newly resident in the marsh. That was not correct. It turned out to be a Muskrat.
However we do now have evidence of a real Beaver colonizing the marsh. Here are the beginnings of dam replacement.
