On the path from main gate at Sheriff Creek I
came across (in the low light level of
early morning) what I thought was a dog dropping. As I sidestepped to detour,
it sprouted feet and headed up the path ahead of me. Knowing there was no such
thing as a four legged, walking dog turd I bent down for a closer look.
And
discovered it was:
A baby Snapping Turtle. ( note the Toonie for
size comparison)
