Frightened this White Tail Deer so that it decided to swim the width of the Sheriff creek Cattail Marsh.
Came across this Adult Black Bear but there was a stream separating us.

| Noticed that mother ducks seem to park the kids in the weeds/bushes and head out for a nbit of peace and quiet. Returning in about 20 minutes or so. |

| There are 3 Mallards here and 1 duck I cannot identify. Grey top white underneath. Seems there are many birds my "Bird-Book(s) do not have full listings for. Anyone know what it is? |

The Monarchs have returned. Milkweed plants in full bloom.

| Looks the worse for wear. Suspect damaged was done by a bird. Said bird having since learned that Monarchs taste really horrible |
