Foxes and Otters
Vixen and 2 kits born this spring.
Mother
heeding the call
Wednesday late afternoon 3 Otters group fishing at Sheriff Creek Sanctuary.
Apology's for lack of detail but my DSLR's telephoto lens took sick and has beejn shipped off for repairs.
Using my standby camera in the meantime. It dose not have the reach. And as the otters were well out into the marsh I couldn't walkup any closer.
There were 3 but they move so quickly in the water I never was able to get all 3m in the same frame.

Turtle eggs, Canada Geese and another Great Blue Heron.
The first 3 photos are of 2 Snapping Turtle nests.
They have been raided, I think because I doubt that emerging turtles would come out a tunnel. So something dug the nests out.
On the other hand, the closeup of the empty eggs does not indicate something having fed upon them. No idea how long turtle gestation is but these nests were all laid down in June. Bit cool for hatching wot?
These were at Sheriff Creek

In and around Penelope Lake on Stanleigh Mine site.
Geese in an amphitheater.
and in the water.
